![]() So for the past two years they've spent all their time and energy fixing those mistakes instead of building a better game, and so for two years this game has been bleeding players until we're at the point where we can't even keep a single east coast server populated fully. ↑ “ The reason I'm upset, and always will be upset, over their mistakes is because they're mistakes that never should have happened. PS1 had ten times the features and gameplay that PS2 has the day it launched, I just don't see why PS2 couldn't have at least mustered up a fraction of that. The playerbase wont wait until "eventually". They may eventually make this into the game it's suppose to be, but that's the problem. They shipped an incomplete game way too early and ignored their testers for the longest time, and we're all paying for it now. At the rate this game is losing player there wont even be anyone left to play on those maps. Instead it'll be another two years until we get searhus, and at least a year until we get any sort of new maps. According to their promises back in beta we should have searhus by now and be close to getting a third new continent. But when they willfully ignored tester feedback, charged ahead, and then wasted a year going back and fixing the things testers had told them all along, that burns my ***. As I've said, I don't fault them for things that are just par for the course, like the game not being as optimized as it could be. ”The reason I'm upset, and always will be upset, over their mistakes is because they're mistakes that never should have happened. And they've continued to address the issues. Faction spawn gals proved to destroy any chance of a front line. Yeah, bases were found to have some weaknesses. ↑ “ It was just to make the maps look more military. Oh god, that was they made mistakes in the development of the game *gasp*Īnd then they just left it like that for us? Oh wait, no they didn't. anyone remember Amerish when the road on the map was CLEARY RIGHT EFFING HERE!!! but no, it's a giant bloody cliff edge and the road is 250 gawd damn meters for a 500m detour? ![]() Hell, the map has even been flat out inaccurate before. the same reason we have ineffective contour lines on the first maps. ![]() So they probably left it off for art direction reasons. Hossin with it's canopy would just make it look weird. ”It was just to make the maps look more military. They aren't clear enough, and don't show elevation the way they are supposed to. ↑ “ Honestly, I don't see the point of contour lines as they are now any way.
